Between the villages of Bourn and Caxton (off the A428 from Cambridge, take the turn after the new blue footbridge follow Caldecote then Bourn Airfield and then Bourn, and take a right turn into Caxton Road, alternatively turn off the A1198 via Caxton village).
A two storey open trestle post mill – one of the oldest surviving mills in the country (the earliest record of the mill is from 1636). Working until 1926 and gifted to the Cambridge Preservation Society (now Cambridge Past, Present & Future) in 1932. Sails (two common and two patent sails) turn, mill turns on its post and machinery nearly intact.
